How long have you been surfing for, and what made you start?

I have never really had a particular age I started surfing because I grew up watching my mum and my older brother surf every day and it made me feel like I was apart of it. I started surfing because it felt so natural when I was doing it and I got to spend more time with my family

Do you have a girl gang of surfers that you go with?

My mum Jess and my sister Jazz are my favourite people to surf with but other than that, these days seeing so many young girl surfers as to what there used to be is so amazing, so I always try to make friends with all the girls out there ahaha.

Where did you grow up?

Snapper Rocks

Favourite thing about where you live?

No doubt about it is the surf, you can always find a wave, but I also love where I live because it is so much more than just the amazing beaches but of how beautiful and unique it is. We have such a wide range of cultures and I feel like this day and age is so important to grow up in a place where you feel comfortable. Everyone around where I live majority of the time is a family friend and I’m so grateful to live in such a beautiful place.

Where is your favourite surf spot?

Super strange but I’m a goofy but because I’ve grown up at Snapper I choose my back hand always so I would have to say either home or Keramas.

When did you join the Billabong team?

05/01/2017 it literally was a fairy-tale I dreamt about being a part of the billabong family for years and I always will remember my mum and step dad Mark calling me from the Billabong house in Hawaii in 2016 saying I have a real good shot at this and we worked so hard until I was finally sitting in front of Bowie with my sister in so much shock that it was actually happening.

Can you tell us what your typical day looks like?

My typical day always starts off early as I have a really big family and the babies wake up super early, but I love getting an early surf and a workout done in the morning after that coming home and having breakfast than I normally would have some sort of surf training and then if I have some time I will just go surfing or tanning with my sisters and mumzy.

What are your plans for the future?

For the future my priority over anything is to give back to my Mum after everything she has sacrificed for me and my siblings. The day I joined the billabong team it was a big opportunity more than anything to make be closer in making the WSL CT and bring my Mum along with me.
